Metal Separator

Metal separators can filter out metal from the feed, thus preventing the metal from getting into the extruder.

Planetary extruder barrel and screw make contact through teeth. Since they are meshed closely, any tiny metal will cause irreparable damage. Manufactures who do not understand this lack effective implementation of mechanism in their products to separate metal from the feed, resulting in damages to their customers' equipment. In serious cases, the three main components will have to be replaced earlier. Our Suba planetary extruders are equipped with imported high-sensitivity metal separators. Metal separators can filter out metal from the feed, thus preventing the metal from getting into the extruder and effecively extending the extruder's life expectancy.
